about

Storming from Iqaluit, Nunavut, Koel and the Twin Otters craft wild rhythmic highly-entertaining exuberant cosmopolitan anthems.
This indie album arise from the previous indie version, 'Animals', which erupted among a growing number of fans in our tiny locality. It is now called 'Koel and the Twin Otters', because clearly 'Animals' belongs to The Pink Floyd. It is simply a new mastering we worked on, and we changed the order of songs. Now we propose this album online only on Bandcamp and on CDs. So we think this album will be even better than the precedent version. Oh, and also don't forget to send us comments or stop us on the street.
Thanks to Ed Mayurama Photography, Alianait Festival, le Francocentre d'Iqaluit, family, friends and fans.

about

Koel and the Twin Otters Iqaluit, Nunavut

Koel and the Twin Otters are cosmopolitan souls from Iqaluit, Nunavut (Canada) and the Indian community of Toronto, and recorded this indie album in Montreal. Whatever rythmn is good as long as they stay on their feet. The wild forces of the arctic and the city were favourable in achieving the completion of this album. ... more
